We love doing weddings! Drop us a quick email or give us a call!

We know how important your wedding day is, and how much careful planning goes into making sure everything goes like clockwork. Whether you're just mulling over the possibility of having a barn dance on your big day, or you're completely sold on the idea of a ceilidh, here are a few ideas that might help when planning your entertainment.

We like to have the opportunity of discussing the choice of dances for the evening with our wedding couples, and we can cater for all levels of dancing ability.  It’s always a big help to get some idea of your guests’ experience of traditional dancing before that part of your evening is planned.
If you're not sure what you want for your first dance, had you considered making it part of the ceilidh?! Talk to us about having a special Wedding Dance, with the bridal couple in the centre of a big circle of their friends and family - a fantastic way of symbolising two families coming together. (It can also help take the pressure off if the thought of everyone watching the two of you dance to a CD for three minutes doesn't appeal!)

Here are some dances that we often get asked for at weddings and barn dances:-

The Circassian Big Circle Dance

The Gay Gordons

The Britannia Two Step

The Virginia Reel

The Dashing White Sergeant

Strip the Willow

The Cumberland Square Eight

Sir Roger de Coverley

And of course we will be happy to include any others that you might like!
